Prof.  Yasemin Basbinar

Yasemin Başbinar completed her undergraduate education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1988. She graduated from Dokuz Eylul University Biochemistry Doctorate Program in 1995 and Basic Oncology Doctorate Program of the same University in 2006. She received his professorship at Dokuz Eylül University Oncology Institute in 2017.

She went to Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital as a General Practitioner with NATO Science Scholarship, as a Researcher at the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Danish Center for Human Genome Research, University of Aarhus, Denmark. She worked as a laboratory manager at the Ministry of Health RSHM İzmir Regional Hygiene Institute, National Reference Laboratories and WHO Regional Laboratories.
She is still working as a faculty member in Dokuz Eylül University Oncology Institute, Translational Oncology Department and Faculty of Medicine Biostatistics and Medical Informatics Department.
In 2013, she carried out studies at Harvard Medical School Brigham and Women’s Hospital Division of Biomedical Engineering, BAMM Laboratories. In 2015, he established the Center for Personalized Medicine and Pharmacogenomics/genetics Application and Research and is the Director of the Center. Institute of Health Sciences has implemented Translational Oncology Master’s and Doctorate Programs and is the Program Manager. In 2018, the Oncology Institute launched the Department of Translational Oncology and is the Head of the Department.
Prof. Dr. Yasemin Başbinar has articles in domestic and international journals, national and international projects, papers in congress proceedings booklets, various book chapters, awards and patents.
